The FRANCIS PADUA PAPICA FOUNDATION, INC., sponsors the annual FPPFI Youth Leadership Conference usually held on the first Saturday of February of every year.   The Conference is open to both the secondary and tertiary levels of education.  In 2001, the Foundation embarked on what is intended to be an annual Student Workshop entitled, DIALOGUES AND ACTION: Meaningful Conversations to Accelerate Change.  Students from the various districts were grouped in their own districts to discuss, select and propose a project that they can do within their own districts.  Each district, separately comprised of the high school and college levels, is given P10,000.00 start up capital for a project of their own choosing.  The results of their project will be announced in the following year’s convention with the most outstanding result receiving a Foundation Grant of P50,000.00 to be applied to their next year’s project.  Previous and current projects include candy making, basket weaving, piggery, hair salon, and pugo hatchery.
